"Appendix N" of the 3d annual report was issued separately, 1899-1904, as v. 1-7 of the "Public papers of George Clinton, first governor of New York, 1777-1795, 1801-1804", issued in 10 vols., New York, 1899-1914. "No reports have been issued by the state historian since 1904, though subsequent publications have the running title 'Annual report of the state historian'."
